Was talking in side chat in Seattle 67 complaining about how people DC when i shoot at them all the time, and then discussion went to how hackers also suck. Somehow Robbie, the owner of the server, gets on and talks about how he snipes people from 600 meters with an MK17. I ask him where he gets that since that is not suppose to be in.

Short story short. Robbie admitted on the server side chat to all that he as the server admin for some reason gets the right because he pays $35 a month for the server (i've hosted BF servers and paid more... i still don't cheat) to give himself guns that are not part of the game. Also tried to justify that since people love his server his cheating is alright and he "deserves" a gun..... Especially a high end accurate marksman rifle like the MK17 (arguably better than DMR, AS50, and M107 if it is a silenced TWS, or sniper, or NVG version like they have available in the real arma)

I would really love something to be done about this. Cheating is wrong, and cheating from a SERVER ADMIN is even worse... especially when there are many people from my understanding lining up to want to host Dayz servers.

I know you have other things on your plate, just doing my duty and making sure that these things are brought to attention. Cheaters really are the downfall of many games out there and it is up to us as a community to have no tolerance for cheaters.

Either way, sorry no proof, it is just my word against his... but maybe you can do some of your smart tech stuff and check his server files and see if he spawned them.

Thanks Rocket so far for having a no tolerance attitude for cheaters, and oh btw, great game! I broke 300 Hours of Arma 2 tonight XD (i think 50 were on Taji life, but for sure 250 on Dayz)

bump, sorry. I just take this stuff seriously. Not sure if a moderator checks all of these out or only the big ones... because Admin abuse IMO pretty much is hacking as they can do all the same things.

I just came to report this as well then i saw your post.

It's like Pinindajin said the server owner openly admits to spawning himself with a sniper rifle whenever someone is playing in a way he dislikes.

thankfully my in game name is in no way associated with my account so ill openly speak of this. im server admin dallas 350. and im good freinds with robbie and we have a rather large group of admins for both our servers ( about 5-9 total admins ) in 67 admins do have the ability to bring in certain weapons which we use to take out a hacker in a organized attack, bearing the logic he hacked and battleye didnt pick it up, so if we kill him he cant serverhop away and he will have to hack AGAIN to get his stuff back therfore battleye might pick it up again. we never kill players with these guns, when the hackers dead we ban him and dump the weapons in glitch spots. and go back to normal play. its a rare occurance so please, blame hackers not admins. would you rather we spawn in a few 50 cals and take the hacker out and then go back to normal or have some hacker going up and down the coast with some crazy gun killing tons of noobs and somehow getting back into the server everytime we ban him. your choice. =/

In the conversation that I had with robbie we discussed him spawning with weapons to kill bandits, not hackers. He justified this by saying they (bandits) "need to die", and that they're "ruining the game for others".

Robbie's response to other playing in a way he doesn't like is to cheat.

So you're blatantly admitting that you cheat/spawn in weapons because you're server owner vigilanties that would rather PK suspected hackers than report them to BattleEye/DayZ admins?

oh pssht i dont hack normal day. i hack the fucking shit out of rouge servers though XD no i dont hack normal servers and trust me im not hacking. i cant talk for robbie but i know what i do. im somehow better with a enfield than a 50 cal q.q makes total sense right? -_- but yeah. i spawn in like 50 battleships in cherno and drive around tungustas and destroy shit. you know theres actually a scud launcher you can use? were also trying to get the drone working ANNND we even coded our own AI guards that we have patrols the streets with m1a4's and shoot zombies on sight :D their 100% accurate too! but those are rouge non battleye servers and we try to make everyones life there hell for defying rocket ^.^

I just had a similar incident on this server. I was driving my tractor around the NE airfield when i was spawned into a location above electro still in my tractor. I got out and ran into the hillside to look back and see several black suv's, urals, cars, helicopters all down in the street getting hit with what im assuming was a grenade launcher. After about 2 minutes and seeing 3 people die the whole area was on fire like a giant forest fire and i dc'd from the server. Also GG Noah N. Becker.
