[Question] Standalone Data Mining

Recommended Posts

I've seen a few posts here where it looks like someone went into the actual breakdown of the game itself to find out the useful modifications things like the ballistic helmet and bike helmet provide. If anybody could help me out by letting me how where this kind of information is located and how I could access it that'd be great.

It seems there is a great deal of missing information on things such as weapon damage and item modifications and I'd like to educate myself.

Thanks in advance if anybody knows.

I would say, if you do not know how to find the info yourself, you have no real 'legitimate' need for it... if you take my meaning.

I find it difficult to post an uneducated opinion. Getting the hard facts on what something does helps me substantialize my claim and not make me look like a total moron :), but I get what you mean.

That makes no sense. It's like someone asking you directions to the hospital and in response you say "well if you don't know where it is, then you don't need to go there do you?"

no, it makes perfect sense, to use your hospital analogy its like walking into the hospital and asking...

"How do I find patient SalamanderAnder's biopsy results"

e.g. if I have to ask the receptionist where to/how to find information on you, I have zero 'legitimate' use for said info.

I don't get it. What harm could he do with more info on the game, which is literally available to everyone? It's not like knowing how much a helmet protects you somehow makes it easier to hack. He isn't asking for binaries here. He's just asking for solid info on how items in the game work. Ridiculous.
