Australian/New Zealand Servers

Recommended Posts

Its practically impossible to get onto any servers in Australia because they are all full :(

Even if you do manage to get onto one, its almost always night time - meaning you can't play at all. (For newer players like me anyway).

Anyone else having tonnes of difficulty joining Australian/New Zealand Servers? Any methods you can use to try and get in before spamming join for 10 minutes?

Na pretty much as you described have to just spam enter until you finally get in. But considering I haven't paid a cent for this mod and I haven't paid a cent for the server usage I can't complain too much.

join a west coast USA server. Locations like seattle and LA offer the best ping for Australian players when a Australian server is not available. We have a decent amount of customers from Australia who choose servers for that reason.

I really want to do that but hows the hit detection with higher pings (From Aus to USA pings are generally 300-600), i don't want to have to shoot a zombie 5 times before it actually registers and get hit from a few metres away.

Other than that i'm fine with playing on overseas servers.

Well from what i have heard an LA server or a Seattle server ping the best for any Australian player connecting to a USA server. Try checking your ping to any of the seattle servers. Or possibly an LA server.

Im guessing your looking at around 200 maybe less.

Spent a couple hours playing on one of the Seattle servers. I'll probably make it a habit now, theres no lag and the ping isn't noticable.

Only slightly annoying thing is shots missing a zombie even though you were aiming straight at their body, don't know if this is a ping issue or its just because the mods still developing.

Getting a pretty stable 190-220 ping =D
