Printing out 3D Models

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, this is something related to DayZ, but not in-game but with the DayZWiki forums

I want to help out with the DayZ.gamepedia.com since I have discovered a lot of things that aren't yet on the wiki.
So basically what I want:

as an example: I tried to edit out the pictured from in-game screenshots: Like this: http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/dayz.gamepedia.com/d/da/ButtstockMP.png

you can see the quality is pretty crappy, and after uploading the file I found this screenshot: http://hydra-media.cursecdn.com/dayz.gamepedia.com/1/18/M4ButtstockMP.png

There must be a way to get the same quality with Weapons/Attachments aswell.

I googled about 2 hours long to get to this, since I can't contact the guy who uploaded the File. I have come so far with PBOManager, and opening the weapon_attachments_textures.pbo document, but I don't know what to do anymore...

If someone could give me a small guide on printing out files in that quality with some tools that would awesome!
Sorry for being dumb and have to ask here.

Couldn't you still take pictures in game by clicking on the item and clicking inspect?
