Sometimes it seems I see 5-7 of them in a row while looting... You probably don't see them because people have a higher propensity to pick them up vs. a two slot knife/screw driver that will degrade.

Well, it is easier to find an m4 than a can opener. I have magazines, m4, pistol, 2 canteens, two water bottles, 3 bags rice, cereal, etc.

 

Still haven't found a can opener this game.

Yeah I noticed this too. I found one early in one for my first lives. Now current character has survived a couple days, I have trekked to NEAF, then to NWAF and have yet to find a can opener. I've found 20 or so M4A1's. have about 400 rounds of ammo. No can opener.
