Wierd Problem

So i have had essentially all the problems in the world getting this to work and i finally managed to get into a server, create a character and enter the world. It was a bit laggy though so i left and tried to join a new server and ever since then every time i try to join a server the game just freezes and i have to enter the task manager and close the game from there. Is there anything that i can do about this?
