US 3480 Ban Appeal

Recommended Posts

I was playing on US 3480 2-3 days ago under the name 'BOSCO' and a little later as 'Royce'. I was PvPing on Electro Sniper hill when I was suddenly banned (Royce(Admin Ban ESP Script)).

When I entered the server, it was night time in-game and many shots could be seen going off on the Electro sniper hill where I was at the moment. The side chat was filled with players practically giving a play by play of the PvP at that hill. At one point, I was able to spot a few players and identify them based on the side chat. I couldn't fire at them because they were 250+ meters out and I get severe frame rate drops when I try to zoom at that distance and fire shots; I get the little box at the top-right corner of the screen warning me about my low fps. I jokingly asked other players to do my bidding. I then went to the side of the hill overlooking the northern fire station and killed a couple of guys. As they had been doing the whole time, two players told my location to the rest of the other players over side chat. A fewer minutes later, I Iogged off to change my name to 'Royce' with the hope that the man-hunt on me would end. Upon logging back in while on the peak of Dobry that is 100+ meters north of the infamous treeline overlooking Electro (Electro Sniper Hill), there were two players idling by a tree less than 10 meters away. I quickly killed them and just a couple of minutes later I was banned.

I was not running any scripts and I was playing legitimately. How did the admin arrive at the decision to ban me? Is it suspicious to PvP at the most popular spot and have the whole server know where I was and even more so when I decided to stay there?

Evidence in the .rpt showing the ground you covered at large distance in direct paths to other players was cheating.

Does this report specify where these locations are? I usually run from counter-sniper hill to sniper hill to Topolka Dam and to the shoreline east of Dobryy to kill fresh spawns. These locations are 500+ meters apart yet the visibility is good enough to spot people. They're too far for me to kill because of the frame rate problem I mentioned in the first post so I end up having to follow them. If I am running between four major PvP locations in the most populated server for this mod, that should also look like direct paths to other players.

The amount of ground covered in the amount of time it was covered is the grounds for the ban.  It appears from the report that you were either using ESP and speedhacking or otherwise teleporting yourself to kill players, as well as going directly from one player to another to another.

Cheers,

Jimmy

It is becoming more and more apparent that either you are missing data or misinterpreting your report. You say that i covered more ground than possible for the given amount of time, but I absolutely without a doubt know that you did not factor the distances in between that I covered while on other servers. Server hopping while I am at the most popular PvP spots can give the illusion that I am teleporting to other players. Simply reread the part of my first post that I quoted below to see how easy it is to appear to be teleporting while at the most obvious place for PvP.

As they had been doing the whole time, two players told my location to the rest of the other players over side chat. A few minutes later, I Iogged off to change my name to 'Royce' with the hope that the man-hunt on me would end. Upon logging back in while on the peak of Dobry..., there were two players idling by a tree less than 10 meters away. I quickly killed them and just a couple of minutes later I was banned.

I already stated how I spot and follow players in between the most popular PvP spots. Now add to it how I sometimes server hop around these locations. This is why I asked you to specify where these locations are. I do not know what time span you are speaking of nor do I know these instances you are referring to of when I crossed paths with other players. You do not know the total amount of time that I spend playing during any of my sessions, but you should be able to tell when I first logged in and last logged out from your server. If you use those two times, you'll see that the distance covered between them is legitimately possible. I honestly can not explain how you managed to make the error of confusing the total time that I spent on your server with the total amount of time I spent on all servers during my playing session, along with the distances I covered on multiple servers.
