Connecting failed (Solved)

Recommended Posts

Hello, i've had this problem for quite a while now. As I dont find any solution to this problem im just gonna post it here and cry for help. :(

I just bought myself a new pc, and reinstalled Dayz and Dayz Commander. Just to find that I cant join any servers through Dayz Commander. When I try to join servers from the ingame serverlist it seems to work, but then again I get some other weird issues so I would like the Dayz Commander to work again. Btw Dayz Commander worked just fine on my other computer.

So this pops up after a couple of seconds with blackscreen after I join a server post-182161-0-78902300-1388199266_thumb. (Check thumbnails)

Specs and other information:

Intel i7-4770 3.40GHz

Nvidia GeForce GTX 760

MSI H87-G43 GAMING, Socket-1150

Crucial DDR3 BallistiX Sport 1600MHz 8GB

Windows7 32bit
On my old computer I used wireless connection, now i use cable.(dont know if this should make any difference)

Bought Arma2 and Arma2OA on Steam

Stuff I have tried so far:

Reinstalling Arma2 and Arma2OA

Tried different BE patches

Reinstalling DayZ Commander

Checked forums with no luck

Run both Steam and Dayz Commander with administrator

So i hope someone knows anything about this, thanks in advance :)

Edit: Found a FIX that worked for me!

Please Click on Start and where it says search for programs and files please type in cmd . When the Command Prompt appears under Programs please Right Click on it, select 'Run as Administrator'. Then once your command prompt opens up please type in the following.
netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt (then press enter) should go through the following
Reseting Interface, OK!
Resetting Global, OK!
Restart the computer to complete this action.
Then I want you to type in netsh winsock reset (then press enter) should go through the following
Sucessfully reset the Winsock Catalog.
You must restart the computer in order to complete the reset.
Then go ahead and restart your computer.
Upon restart, you now should see the QUALCOMM/Killer Network Manager popup and display
The layered service provider is not mapped correctly, do you want to remap? You going to want to click 'no'.
The next step for this issue is to go ahead and disable the startup of the program. You can do this by the following
Click on Start, where it says 'search for programs and files' type in msconfig
Once msconfig loads on the top of the program your going to want to click 'startup'
Go through the list until you see QUALCOMM Network Manager and uncheck the box. Then select 'apply' and 'okay'. Now go ahead and restart your computer.
Hope this helps
