My character got teleported to the middle of the ocean

The title says it all, I have no idea which way to go, nor do I understand how this could have happened. Respawn is unavailable, and the position was already stored in the hive, so I cannot play anywhere... HELP?!

I tought that the client's ability to do stuff like this has been removed, and every game decision is ultimately up to the server. Could it have been an abusive admin? OR just a bug ?
