Not sure if I can play a bandit!

I've given it a go, and I don't think I have what it takes. I got tired of trying to trust people, and constantly being stabbed in the back, so I adjusted my playing style. I decided that I'd just kill everyone I saw that I thought was even a very slight potential threat.

It's so very easy to sneak up on a group of people and just annihilate them, it doesn't feel rewarding at ALL.

It always just leaves me feeling like an asshole. How do you guys do it?

I feel great about it. Yesterday I ran across 3 corpses: 2 of zombies one of a player. But I couldnt loot him, so I checked his pulse - it was strong! So I quickly took my axe and hacked him while he is unconscious! That guy had some decent weapons and full bag of meds. Probably crashed his keyboard seeing how brutally I ripped him.

Some people take a game too serious. BTW that happened in Elektro and my bandit count increased after that murder.

You just do it. I get past it by thinking about how nice their loot will be in my nice little camo tent. Haha :D

I have to give the point to void_false, i also like to kill ppl in this game. I kill them even if i don't need there stuff, just for the fun of doing it. Starting to shoot on ppl get u killed faster and that feeling to risk all ure stuff just for the kill is waht i love about the game.

The fundamental problem is that you can never trust someone who is armed unless you are friends with them outside of the game. If I see someone with a gun, I shot first and ask questions later. I used to play friendly, but all that ever got me most of the time was a bullet to the head. Sometimes, the other person teamed up with me, but those are rare and far between (granted they were probably some of the best times I had in the game).

It is frustrating to die, but it is the name of the game. Almost everyone is a "bandit" to someone else at one point as the person who shoots first is usually the winner. Just remember, no tears, only dreams.
