As topic title says.

 

Well, I don't want to sound over-obvious but you could just play some music in the background.  The game itself doesn't need music, especially when there is already pretty overpowering wind blowing/random things creaking/etc. ambient sounds in the game.

Sorry, fixed the title. Like, in the mod it had a creepy hammer hitting metal kind of sound?

 

*Edit, I guess so, but no reason not to add more scary effect.
