Possible solution to the Issues with people who want pvp and people who do not

I have been reading a few posts about, how it is so easy to get weapons from the start, and just going around killing people. 

 

I understand the frustration if you are looking to be more of the survivalist rather than a bandit, however being a bandit is also the other experience the game provides...

 

So I think there should be two different types of servers to choose from. One that is more on the pvp aspect, I.E. easier access to getting weapons and military gear, with a slightly higher loot reset rate...

 

And then have a server that is harder to find weapons, especially earlier on in the game, and makes you really have to use more survivalist tactics to progress...

 

This gives everyone a choice on what they want to play, and once you create a character on one type of server that character cannot be allowed to join the other type of server.

 

just my 2 cents, I am sure there are lots of aspects I have not thought of, considering I have only been playing for a few days. Just seems like a good direction to go in, rather than a blueprint to success.

Surviving is too easy against the Zombies, A real survivor can survive and avoid players.

Learn to Survive and you will find the game plays your way too.

 

If you like the team survivor gameplay then join one of the many survivor clans out there.

 

 

or.

 

 

If you want just Pve then play Dayzmod: Epoch

 

If you want Pvp/Pve play Dayz: Standalone

Game currently has little number of zombies due to performance issues, once more zombies arrive, hopefully the PvE aspect of the game becomes a lot more difficult.

But then again, this is going to arrive latter stated by Rocket which is in Early 2014 I believe. So untill then, the game is mainly focused towards PvP action with very light PvE action.

While something like a pure PVE server would be a bit too easy and boring in alpha with so few zombies, at a later date when zombies are a lot more dangerous and prevalent and there are more things to do I think it would be a great idea. Not everyone wants to constantly PK or be on the lookout just to shoot everyone on sight, so maybe if there was a PVE server that included things such as large hordes, base building, a constantly changing and unpredictable environment, etc. without the possibility of there being any shot on sight I can see myself having fun with that. 

 

At the moment however the game's main entertainment and attraction is through player versus player interaction. While I've already seen two or three servers that apparently instakick/ban just for PVPing, for the most part I think everyone will agree.

While its a possibility, having that now is extremely pointless. 

exactly.

 

you know the most effective solution at this time is to join low pop servers if you dont want pvp death match.

 

i dont understand why people complain about PVP, its easy to avoid. if you want to...

 

in due time, when servers open up, etc there will be options for both

NO! I hate the KOS mentality(not killing just the morons who blast away for no reason or start fist fights on the beach when no one has anything to gain from them) but I do not want the fear of others players removed from the game.
