SA Backstab Fail

Got my first SA kill yesterday :)

 

So im looting trough Stary and I see a zed chase someone into the market. I proceed to the market and see the guy killing zeds at the back.I wave from the door to show im friendly and after he kills his last zed he waves back. We both take some stuff from the market, then I wave goodbye and go to loot another house. While im looting I see hes followed me into the house. I don't really mind as he seemed friendly so I just leave and head towards NWA. Iv only been running down the road a few seconds when he comes barrelling past me in sprint axe swinging as he goes.....I still give him the benefit of the doubt and leave my axe on my back while jogging.

 

Suddenly he gets a hit in and im bleeding.....that's it! I draw my axe and we start dancing round eachother swinging axes. After a few seconds I manage to kill him. After getting some extra food and drink I carry on my way. Let this be a lesson to all you little backstabbers.....just because some of us play friendly dosent mean we wont kick ur ass if you try something :P

This highlights the glaring bug of a player carrying a weapon in hand can still catch up with someone with nothing in thier hands even though it was meant to be fixed in the last patch, Good story though.

I had a similar situation in a gas station where a relatively new player suck up on me and said hi, I offered him some supplies and even a med kit as I was well equipped with gun, axe military helmet and other supplies. His response was to scream "DIE!!!!" at the top of his voice and try to box me out. I put some distance between him and me and took a shot with the mosen, which injured him fairly badly and then pulled out the axe.

I then gave him a second warning and opportunity to leave, but he continued to senselessly charge at me to his death.

Was Kind of funny and tense at the same time but I still can't understand why he didn't accept my help.

Yeah when I was leaving town (when he actually attacked me) I was at a jog...tryin to save food and water. He just sprinted after me at full speed lol :)
