Can the standalone use several CPU cores?

As im not home and on my old computer with a AMD 1055t 2.8 ghz with 6 cores im wondering how it will run. I cannot OC it because of the terrible cooler i have. Anyone else tried it out with a similar CPU. I have a AMD 6950 graphics card, which i know is not going to be a big problem.

My friend runs the game fine on an FX-6300. I highly doubt that he's getting it to use all 6 cores, but a lot of games won't use more than 4 so that's pretty standard.

It'll probably run OK, you might notice occasional dips cus its not very well optimised but yeah, I run it on a shitty dual core 3.00 and a GTX 275 haha

My friend i use a 955 black edition AMD cpu (4 cores) and GIGABYTE (brand) 1GB 6870 OC (factory) 16GB 1600Mhz Memory

Also running a velociraptor 250GB 10,000 RPM Hdd (going back to SSD, but might get a second 10k and raid 0) i've been running maxed out, except i turn off post process fx runs fine for me, but i'm used to twitchy games so i may not notice (Wurm Online) keep your settings just shy of maxed out and you will be fine, also plays well on my laptop, but that thing is a beast ASUS n53s with 2g video and 16gig ram I7 cpu

Well i just tried, and i get around 30-40 FPS average on lowest possible. Definitly playable, but it feels choppy and i don't like it. I am running Windows on an SSD, a kingston 64GB one, which honestly sucks ass because it really, really does not make ANY difference in loading times, windows startup or such things.

Running game on FX 8320, geforce gtx 660ti and 8gb ram@1600mhz with everything maxed out as much as possible. Having about 50-60fps average. In the new appartment areas and when entering cherno or elektro I get drops down to 25, sometimes 20. Very rarely 15 for a short period until everything loaded. After that(in those crowded areas) im running at stable 35-40. Game is a little choppy at times though. You get lagspikes of split seconds. It is due to bad optimization on the server side though. Noticed that because every friend of mine gets those lag spikes at the same time I do. Its like those glitchy reload and soda can ambient sounds. You get it? Everyone else does too.
