Avoid Ladders (They've killed me twice)

I've been thrown from 2 ladders so far.  I won't be climbing anymore until it's patched.  I know this has happened to other players, but for those who have been lucky.. stay lucky by not risking it.

First time:  Clicked the up arrow to climb up.  Watched my character (in the climbing animation) fly off a 3-story building.  Dead.

Second time.  Clicked the down arrow to climb down.  Watched my character (in the climbing animation) fly off a 2-story building, then reappear on ladder, followed by a death screen.

Also avoid firestation stairs, those things are relentless.. and they hate cats.  :|

lol i avoid all high places now i've lost 3 heavily geared chars to high places! i'm just looking some railing then next thing i know i am freeeeeeeee, free falling off of the ledge as the games decides i need to be more airborn (twice in the wrecked battle ship i have been thrown to my death from it!)

Were you in 3rd person at the time? Ive found that when you use a ladder in 3rd person it kind of flings your player around a little then puts him on the ladder, while in first person it puts you directly on the ladder. This could just be that I havent come across a glitched ladder, but i have never had this problem playing in first person and i use ladders all the time.

I wanted to see the rooftop on some of the new apartments, I fell off that ladder and broke my legs 2 times.  Luckily for me it was before they patched the game so bandages fixed my broken legs at that point.
