MCRoadkill 7 Posted December 23, 2013 The game features a lot of misc. items like pens, paper, shovels, etc. Apart from writing a note (or sticky note), does the pen or paper have an other function?Use it to stab a Z or use it for draining blood? Then if you have misc. items like that then why not also introduce stuff like toothpaste and a toothbrush.Because even after DayZ you still pay attention to your dentals :P The shovel, would be cool you could make a stash by digging a hole and hiding your stuff by buring it. The first aid kits you see lying around, you can take the stuff out that's in them, but you can't equip the first aid kit as a bag or strap it on you as a "fanny-pack" with a belt or straps, because it still functions as a 6 slot bag and it could be very usefull when you need that extra space or are running light. Korsbaek 1778 Posted December 23, 2013 You can use the pen as a weapon. You just have to have it in your hand.
MCRoadkill 7 Posted December 23, 2013 (edited) I know you can use a pen as a weapon, i've tried :P not very succesful on a Z about the dirtly needle, you can also force feed someone a rotten kiwi ;) (it's not pretty...) why not be able to craft something with it, a trap to catch animals like a rabbit.Make ammo out of it for a blowpipe, combine it with a feather and use it on a PVC pipe. Like a native :P Edited December 23, 2013 by MCRoadkill
