Possible to Store Items in Building etc. What do you Think?

I haven't tried this yet and am just curious if anyone has. Is it possible to store extra items you have in a house or other building.  ex. Shed on the side of the road. Would server restarts effect this? This would give incentive (if your playing with a group of people) to "take over" a certain town or military base. Any thoughts or ideas, curious to know everyone's opinion.

I don't know how would "taking control" over a building or a military base, or even a town work, you would have to be in the game forever, guarding the building, and if you log out other players will have no problems with taking all your stuff

The restart will effect the items left on the ground as they will not save.  That said you could store items for the duration of the server uptime then refill them to your inventories before restarts.

I was thinking wayy in the future when there are big clans and what not that could possibly have people on 24/7. And yea Steak that's what I kinda figured wasn't positive

Yea nice idea. Also if you stand really close to a shelve and empty some thing in your inventory. Some of the things will stack into the shelves like as if they spawned there.
