test my mic

Recommended Posts

Just got my first Mic for gaming. How can I test it to make sure its working.

Hold caps lock while talking or else double tap caps lock to keep it on at all times.

You have to be within a certain range of someone to be able to talk to them. Might take a while to find someone.

  3. Click the Test Hardware button.

The Sound Hardware Test Wizard appears.

  4. Click the Next button.

Sing highway to the dangerzone while the hardware is tested.

  5. Speak into the microphone to test the volume.

The volume meter on the screen should dance up and down as you vocalize.

  6. Click the Next button after confirming that the microphone works.
