Bugged character???

I've got this weird issue where no matter what server i join i've got this crazy unplayable lag without me actually having any lag, my ping is at 64 i've tested my connection multiple times and it's all fine but if i click on a door or change a weapon it's not seconds it's minutes for it to appear/change but most of the time nothing happens at all i had to change servers to a server that had the door open to the building i was stuck in as i can't open doors and the zombies don't even react to me i can stand in front of them trying to make them kill me and i can't even do that successfully haha

I have no clue whats going on i'm in like ghost mode or something... last thing that happened when it all started it all was i got a crazy lag spike where the game just became unplayable so i logged as to not have something randomly appear in front of me as it went on for over a minute before i decided to log out to see what was going on and it was all fine reset my modem reset my computer did a network test all good go back into the game now it's worse.

Anyone else experienced anything like this or heard of this before?

I'm not really keen to kill my geared character just to test it out or if it magically fixes itself
