Strange course of advents

Recommended Posts

So my group experienced a weird occurrence when logging back in after a server was restarted. We were at Green Mountain when the server shut down. However, when we rejoined a few moments later, we were greeted by around five players in front of us who instantly shot us before we could even raise our guns. Anyone else know of this happening, like could it have been possible that five players just happened to log in in that exact location right after server restart when they weren't there before? Or have people found a way to hack the standalone?

Note: There were no players there when we logged off, as we were looting the area for a little while before the server shut down and they were right in front of us when we logged in.

There is no possible way to know when someone is logging in and where, very unfortunate timing wrong place wrong time ( I always log out in a bush or hiding )

Aye so do we when we get the chance. Server went down without warning unfortunately, so didn't get a chance to do so that time. Luckily only two of us had logged in when we realized there were people there waiting for us, so the others didn't get hit. Just seemed weird that five players who hadn't been anywhere near us were waiting for us when we logged back in when the server came back up. Probably just bad luck, but I hope people haven't found a way to hack the standalone yet.
