DayZ launch Error

When ever I try to launch DayZ I get the error

 

 

Addon 'dayz_anim' requires addon 'CAData'

 

I have reinstalled and deleted DayZ, I've tried to copy my friends working version of DayZ but neither of those have worked.

 

I've tried to verify data in steam, that didn't work.

 

After that error happens the game kind of launches and then the error...

I think your not running the beta mod correctly

Just change the first part to match were your arma is installed.

"C:\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead\arma2oa.exe" "-mod=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion;@DayZ" -nosplash -world=empty

As for the corrupt data, if you have verified you cache in steam, maybe its just a throw back error because of the above.

It's the stand alone version in steam. Does it still require Arma 2?

 

Side note: I did verify the integrity of Arma 2 and Arrowhead and still doesn't work.

Why would it give me a resource error then? I've downloaded it twice now to make sure it wasn't missing a file or anything. Still doesn't work.
