Stamina

Hi, I've been playing TERA recently, and I find the system of stamina and campfires amazing. Here's how I see it:

You gain stamina by standing or sitting near a campfire or other source of heat. By running, shooting or getting hurt you loose a little stamina. If your stamina goes below 40% you are less resistant to infection and zeds "punches" and you can get knocked down more often. To loose 50% of you stamina you would have to let's say play for 7-8 hours, stamina won't go up if you aren't in the game. 

 

I like how in TERA you set up a campfire, and it gives stamina not only to you, but to players around you + it gives you and players around some bonuses and a campfire somewhere in the woods becomes a place where people meet and maybe get into some group.

Good idea but the mechanic to recover stamina by just being near of a campfire is kinda doubtful, but there should be some kind of body-temperature system in Dayz, unfortunately i didn't take notice from that yet, but i hope it's still contained in the stand-alone :)

 

Furthermore I'd like a more complex stamina system to be in the game this idea could be integrated there too maybe even in conjunction with some kind of sleep-cycle mechanic.
