Axe Spawns

At the moment I only have a shovel and a kitchen knife, and I am looking for an axe so I don't have to run from zombies. What places have high axe spawn rates? I am currently in Cherno. Also, after I get the axe, where do you guys suggest I go? I have 2 canteens, military pack and vest, and a ton of food.

If your new don't go north you will get lost frustrated an bored, head east along the coast towards solichni or whatever it's called less people more time to learn
