exomonkeyman 103 Posted December 21, 2013 So this game features controller support. How dose it work? it dose not seem to control my character fully or am i doing something wrong?
MrNomadic76 39 Posted December 21, 2013 Why would you even want to use a controller? I don't get the attraction over mouse and keyboard which despite any arguments you may have, IS superior.

luke.kta@gmail.com 17 Posted December 21, 2013 I haven't tried it, but I wouldn't imagine that it would be a very viable alternative to the mouse and keyboard. Most PC games that feature controller support don't seem to have it implemented very soundly. There's really not enough buttons on a 360 controller to warrant the use of one in DayZ particularly. SalamanderAnder (DayZ) 1747 Posted December 21, 2013 How would you use the inventory screen?
Mildley 20 Posted December 21, 2013 I would liek to know as well. No way to change the buttons. I use mouse and keyboard but my woman uses a 360 controller for a lot of other games and prefers it as she is not a big gamer but is learning DayZ since I have been playing it for over a year. Works well as far as running simulator is concearned but cant attack lol
gfx 1 Posted December 21, 2013 (edited) i wish it had 360 controller support actually, when traveling long ways it would be nice to kick back and and just use the controller. it could be done like it is in euro truck 2 simulator, for some menus u still use the mouse and stuff.mouse controller and keyboard are all the time activated. so you can switch between them when needed Edited December 21, 2013 by gfx
daze23 549 Posted December 21, 2013 I#m curious in how it works.the game doesn't support xinput (afaik), so you would probably have to bind the buttons to certain keys outside of the game (left stick to WASD, right stick to mouse, etc) with 3rd party software but I'm just guessing...
