DONT rearm at vehicles / tents.

Accidently clicked rearm at our jeep and it deleted my Byzon SD.

Just a warning to anyone tempted to click the delete primary weapon button.

Be nice if the option was removed, along with the eject (suicide) button when ur in a vehicle.

Sometimes lag makes u click the wrong one. While we are on the subject be nice if the respawn button was a bit further from the other options ;)

It's the same as "Take X(drop Y)", it's basically a delete button for your favourite items

Always interact over the Gear menu when you need to change items

An unlit fireplace had the same option available, so I'm going to assume it also deletes your shit.

Actually, i used Rearm on a Tent filled with STANAG rounds (Thx for that whoever owned that tent) and it didnt delete my M4A3.

I accidentally clicked "Rearm" at a fireplace I made and it didn't do anything but after reading this I'll be extra careful going forward just in case.

It may be in a specific case. Depending what in the storage , but it def deleted my best gun. Like if u take a torch when you have a hand gun you loose your hand gun.

I think the take option should also go. Just have the "gear" option.

I think the rearming might be a problem with Arma 2 itself and cant be removed, and you cant stuff around in the menu as far as I know. Ive fallen victim to that nasty respawn button as well.

Eject actually is a good thing. You get out of the car quicker and at low speeds, you don't injure yourself.

As for the respawn button, its happened to me too. Im extra careful now when in the options menu.

Rearm I think does what it is intended. However, I think most of DayZ player base does not fully understand what it does.

Is it supposed to delete your primary weapon permanently from the game , forever ?

If the ammo you need for your primary isn't there, I think it picks up a gun that has ammo available and switches out your stuff. It also makes sure you have flares/chems and other essentials.

As for it deleting your primary, you can post a bug about it, but this isn't the right forum for that. You can post the bug here: https://dev-heaven.net/projects/dayz/issues
