This is the final episode of my first life on DayZ Standalone. I get taken hostage and enter some negotiations.

Why did you run on the road?

Why did you stand still when you met the other player?

Why didn't you run away from those guys?

Why did you run in a direction so they could have shot you if they wanted to?

You should have run around the house so they couldn't shoot you.

Damn man lol.  What a prick.  Somebody posted talking shit about Americans mainly doing things like this.  Well this proves their point invalid.  I just let a guy go after he got down put his hands behind his head.  Told him to count to 20 as I left.

As much as this was kind of bs, you really just stumbled head-long in to this scenario and made no effort to change the outcome it in any way shape or form lol. 

 

• Immediately started talking to a lone armed player before you had observed for any amount of time to see if he was actually alone. 
• Stood against the fence and used 3p to monitor him, but then side stepped against the only "hole" in the fence allowing him to see you through it. 
• If he hadn't noticed that or "heard" your position you then gave it away by informing him that his weapon was pointed directly at you. 
• Ran away without trying to put any objects between you and them to break line of sight. 

 

Regardless, I guess it wouldn't have made an entertaining video if you had actually evaded them so good job in that respect :)

Well I enjoyed it. lmao. No offence. I think it was just bad luck to meet a guy that kinds stuipid. If only the two right guys would have taken u hostage u might have died of starvation only.. rather then by axe and gun.. ;)
