Whats the matter with damaged gear?

So what happens if your gear is damaged at the moment? I got a water bottle that is badly damaged but it still doesn't lose water.. Same with my shirt that is badly damaged. Does it have to be destroyed to feel a difference? Got one destroyed Magazine for my M4, if i load it and fire with it, what can i expect?

ruined magazines dont work at all complete trash as for everything else the appearance just changes.. Like you will see rips in the pants

As of now I have come to the conclusion the damage system isn't working properly :P

I agree. I think the decay sistem of the items doesn't work yet.

but for mechanical parts, like weapon ones ; yeah doesn't make sense for now to carry ruined weapon parts
