Tonight was a bloody night

Hey Guys, first of all thank you so much rocket for this amazing mod!

After buying Arma2 just for this mod a few weeks ago and finding a nice mate on this forums i want to share my today experience with all of you.

After having everything i needed (EVERYTHING! GPS, Camo, Bloodpacks and stuff, military weapons all except NVG) i died to 1 shot sniper near the northwest Airfield.

I didnt really care because in this game you die for sure...you just never now how and when :D

So i never was a player that was up to be a bandit, more so the grey-zone guy (shooting if i really need to).

But after the respawn and the patch (no equip at all..) i decided to tell my friend to come down south and we will look for some action - and we got it.

After salvaging in Elektro i got some decent stuff (1911, lee -plzhearme- enfield and some supplies).

So i grouped up with a mate and made our way to Cherno.

On a small vilage we decided to plunder it and god damnit - there was a guy in this building right in front of me.

My AKS(mate brought it when we met) shot some nice holes into him...yes im an asshole, he was even saying friendly. But its a rough world so you gotta kill or be killed!

Now beeing low on ammo for the AKS (only 1 mag :/) i grabbed the dead guys CZ. Thanks bro. This would be fun.

On the outskirts of Cherno there was a barn. About 500 metres from the barn i spotted a guy right next to it. Shoot him and risk to miss? No, better play save and go closer (as my mate had an M4 with red dot).

So we sneaked up to the barn and spotted the guy.

A few shots after we looted his dead - but still warm - corpse.

On our retreat to the woods i spotted a guy running full speed to the same barn, about 300 metres away. Asked my mate if i should give it(or him;) ) a shot? Sure!

First shot was a good body hit. I was suprised. Well, my prey also seemed to be surprised and got prones...stupid mistake as i had the higher ground...so one less possible Infected guy.

Now shit went serious when we decided to go back in to the barn. On our way out i spotted a guy prone 50m away. GOD FKING DAMN. Ran back into the barn and was glad he hadnt shot me yet. We decided to let him go (warned him if he came closer we open fire) as he had the better position. Going deeper into the outskirts of Cherno i went into a building (1 big room) to see if i could find some useful stuff. My mate went out into the woods and told me to retreat. In this moment i spotted a guy on the other side of the building. Shoot him? No, to many Zombies...and he couldnt shoot me as he had only an axe.

"Friendly?" i asked about 3 times. No response, just sitting on the other side and moving a bit.

This guy creeped me out? what was he up to? Suddenly my friend wanred me of 2 hostiles coming to my position on their way in to Cherno. Fuck! What now? Zombies everywhere, 1 Shot in my CZ Mag before i had to reload, a guy 20 metres from me blocking my way, and 2 guys about 100-200 metres away behind me. So i crouched to a wall to get some cover. Gunshots.

"Are you firing?!" i asked my friend.

"Yes opened fire on these 2 guys" he responded.

Then suddenly i got hit, FK where did this come from? Got prone and tried to get behind the nearest building. Got hit another time, but this was no gunshot...oh my god, the melee guy also was up to get me.

I fired my CZ on point zero and missed, fucking adrenaline.

Switched to my 1911 (should have done that before) and shot an entire mag in his now dead body.

Everything was so grey now, no colors anymore...god, ~5000 blood and some weird icon on the right side(broken bone?).

AND a horde of Zombies coming up to me.

So i ran into this building to bandage myself as the gunshots disappered. My friend finally killed those bitches.

But what do i see running into the bulding? A 4th guy with a big and fat shotgun! Lucky that he ran in the other direction and didnt notice me...well he probably noticed my revolver bullets in his back as he fell to the ground. Nice, only 7 Shots left now, a horde of Zeds in my back, and probably even more hostiles.

I managed to bandage myself(4800 blood at this point) and my mate came to save the day for me with his "I-kill-all-Zeds"-Makarov. He even had a blood transfusion for me, thanks bro. So ready to rock again i wanted to loot the corpse in the building first...where the hell is that corpse? Was he only unconcious and sneaked away? No idea...the other 3 guys gave enough to last a while (10 more 1911 mags for me lol) and enough supplies and stuff like map/compass to get around.

After that we got out of there (Shot another guy from the back in 20m distance like a coward, but better no risk then a fair fight.) and found another barn somewhere more in the north and logged off.

This was so intense. I know i didnt play like a pro, but i live, and im glad about it...thats just my 2 cents about this great mod.

PS: If one of the victims reads this: Thanks for this great experience. This game is finally a game where i get an adrenaline rush again :D

Some of you probably say im an asshole that i kill most players on sight when the odds to survive are ok(really, who would shoot if he knew hed die doing it?). And yes, it may be considered as "assholesness" by PvE players. But what is it worth just playing against the Zeds when the players are a much bigger threat? I played pure "PvE" for tons of ingame hours. And it gets boring after a while. The real adrenaline comes from a nice gunfight vs other idividuals ;)

But thats only my opinion.
