Dropping items on the ground

Is it slow for anyone else? Since the second patch it takes me a good minute for items I've dropped to appear on the ground.

You might just be leaving before they appear. I thought my stuff was disappearing too, but then I sat there and waited long enough for it to appear.

Okay, just wanted to make sure I wasn't the only one. It's kind of a pain in the ass since I love those containers & med kits so much. Hope it gets fixed soon.

I find much more success by dragging items completely off of the inventory screen instead of onto the 'Vicinity' section.  For instance, if I drag a bottle of water from my backpack all the way off to the far right of my screen, it shows up in 'Vicinity' darn near instantly.  If I drag that same bottle of water to the 'Vicinity' section myself, it takes forever to show up.

Just had some dude demand I give him a drink, and I put it on the ground but he got impatient waiting for it to show up, and demanded all my gear instead. :)

I haven't actually experienced this.  I was just re-arranging my inventory half an hour ago in-game dragging things back and forth between the vicinity box and didn't have any issues.

Yes this has been happening to me ....i usually join a different server but then the issue comes back after playing there for a while.
