Resolution bug. Please help.

First off I'm going to say I know this is in the wrong area, but I couldn't get the bug reporting area to work so this will have to do for now I surpose.

 

My bug consist of a resolution problem. I was playing with my resolution in game and then I switched it and it crashed the game and then now when I try to start up the game it flashes black and then I only see my desktop. Then when it loads to the main menu(that I can't see) I can hear everything, all the waves and backrounds and stuff but I can't see anything but my desktop. I can still move my mouse around and click the options but I can't see them. It kinda seems like it's in windowed mode but I couldn't check. I tried to restart my computer and reinstall the game but none of it worked. I need a way to reset my settings or attempt to change my resolution back. If there is anyway to do that it would be most helpful. I tried to go into the files and check but I couldn't find anything.

 

I've been following Dayz's development for a year now and have been wanting to play for a year. I don't want to give up on the best game I've played all year after being able to play it for less than a week.

 

Guys I really need your help here I have no idea. It would be great help if you could do it. Anything that may help. Anything.

Go into My Documents > DayZ and open DayZ.cfg with WordPad (or your prefered text editor) and change...

 

Resolution_W=1920;
Resolution_H=1080;

 

to your desired resolution and run the game.
