I had this weird glitch in Arma 2 and the DayZ mod, in which the screen would suddenly go black after playing some time, my computer wouldn't freeze and could just alt-tab and close the game, I could still hear sounds, shoot, walk and do everything except I couldn't see it. Now my question is, will this carry onto the stand alone? Thanks!

I read about this yesterday.  People were saying that either your graphic card wasn't up to date, or you were playing on too high of settings.  I don't know if that would carry over.

I doubt it involves my gpu being up to date since I could play Arma 3 with no issue, as well as being able to play it on medium-high.
