I agree with you, but that's just how things end up. The best you can do is choose servers you like and avoid the ones you don't. In the mod, I enjoy day/night servers, but I also enjoy servers with custom locations, or using other maps, etc. most servers have their own charm, and it keeps more players invested overall. And lord knows, with hacking and other issues, keeping people invested can't have been easy. So let server hosts do as they will, and stick with the servers you like the most.
