Little lag

When i'm playing Dayz i get a bit of lag i am around 25-30 FPS

 

Stats:

AMD 8350 FX 4.0GHZ cpu

7950 HD 3GB Gfx card.

 

I want to be around 40-60 FPS constantly i have a budget of around 400 pounds what's will improve my game play more crossfiring two cards or upgrading my CPU

What graphics settings are you playing on currently?

Even if i go on highest and lowest my graphics are still 20-30 i also don't use V-sync

Try everything on 'very high' or the highest possible setting as a starting point and then...

Video memory: auto

Object detail: very low

Ambient occlusion: disabled

Post-process effects: disabled

 

Also, try these startup parameters...

-cpuCount=8 -exThreads=7-cpuCount=4 -exThreads=7 -maxvram=3072 -maxmem=8192 -high -xp

 

And in your DayZ.cfg in the My Documents folder change the following values...

GPU_MaxFramesAhead=1;
GPU_DetectedFramesAhead=1;
 
On a side note, running two cards in SLi will do nothing for your performance in DayZ so it's really not worth doing. RV engine games do not like SLi setups at all.
