My 1st time, Beginners guide help..

So i never tried the mod because as soon as i found out about Dayz the announcement for the standalone came 2 weeks later so i read the beginners guide and how it said the punch zombies because its a weapon. Well when i spawned i was going hard punching a zombie but inevitably ran away pouring blood everywhere until i tried to stop after 20 minutes of 2 zombies chasing me to pick up an axe and kill them, soon as i stopped i fell unconscious from loss of blood i take it and i had to kill my poor character.

 

First time ever playing Dayz and my review is that the game is amazing, just maybe kinda change the beginner guide thing about going Rocky Balboa on a zombie because i dont think it works very well

haha yea boxing a zed can be very hard, i would stick to boxing other players as an attempt to defend rather then zeds.

they do take about 5-6 hits to kill them by punching, fire axes are good 1 hit kills on zeds however are rather large, the best one for using i think is the wood splitting axe, its slightly smaller and also kills zeds with one hit
