Need some closure with blood packs

I've seen people running around with blood packs all the dang time. I find some buildings that look like hospitals but no blood pack. Where do I get one? How do I use it?

Cherno is generally a really good place to find them. If you think you found a hospital, then you really didn't. The hospitals generally have to be broken into by shooting or clubbing down the glass in the front of the building. The glass has the universal medical symbol on the glass, and you can find the blood packs in cardboard boxes.

Sometimes, there are empty cans where the boxes are: need to clear the cans before you can get to the box.

Rarely, someone will have already looted the boxes. In that case, also try the medical tents just north of one of the hospitals. Always find blood there. Good source for morphine and pain killers, though Epi Pens I have not used once so I think are pointless unless you are part of a big raiding group.

There are 2 hospitals at Cherno, 1 at Elektro and 1 at Berezino. There's also a medical camp with medical boxes next to an hospital in Cherno. The medical boxes spawn at the roof of the hospitals(I don't recommend you getting there), next to the ladder, and inside - you just have to break the windows.

Also you need someone else to give you a transfusion.

I've found a medical box on top of Berezino hospital nearly every time I've gone up there. You also don't have to break any windows to get up there so it's a plus.

A tip on breaking hospital windows - you can throw empty cans at them and they will eventually break. Just if you don't want to make noise.
