Teleported to spawn place.. hack or bug?

Was in a DAL server earlier tonight and was travelling north with 2 friends... all of us got teleported back to the place where we originally spawned in on the server. (North/West of Balota Airstrip).

 

1 of us crashed.

1 of us Alt+F4'd immediately.

I waited for a little while.. I was stuck in place, and could not move my camera or use any actions, not even access gear.

 

I was then shot and killed.

 

My friend who Alt+F4'd logged back in, and found 3 guys surrounding my body.. He killed all 3, and died in the process (3rd guy returned fire and knocked him unconscious.)

 

My other friend then logged in, and checked the bodies.. At least 1 of their bodies was extremely well geared.. (Pristine optics on M4, Mosin w/ Optics and over 150 Ammo, etc.)

 

As we were running back to Balota, the friend who died shortly after me and I both got teleported again, back to our spawn point..

 

This happened several times over the course of about 1 hour. We finally smartened up and logged into another server, ran back to our bodies, and logged in.. by this time, the guys who killed us were back there as well.

 

When everything was said and done, all of our gear was "Ruined", and the guys eventually combat logged when they got shot at and took most of the good gear with them.

 

 

So.. Anything like this happen to anyone else? Anyone know if this was a bug/server glitch/hive issue, or if this was intentional? 

It seemed that once we started changing our Steam names, we stopped getting teleported.

This definitely sounds like h4x to me...

 

Having over 150 bullets sounds pretty... Unlegit? :D

Well, the 150 bullets thing wasn't as suspicious to me as was the fact that there was a group of 3 guys hanging out near Balota who were THAT geared, so long after server restart, and who also just happened to be exactly at the place that I got mysteriously "teleported" to.. And then the fact that we KEPT getting teleported but as soon as we changed our names we stopped getting teleported.. It happened systematically, also.. Like 1 friend changed his name and stopped getting teleported, and then I got teleported, and after changing my name I didn't get teleported, but got teleported several times before that..

 

The whole thing was just very suspicious.
