Effect of Weapon Attachments?

Recommended Posts

I was just curious if anyone knew what some weapon attachments did.

For example, do the MP (MAGPUL) buttstock or handguard give any benefit compared to the stock attachments? I read the CQB (Close Quarter Combat) buttstock has a side effect of increasing dispersion.

Also, does having degradation on things such as the handguard, buttstock, bipod, or silencer do anything such as reducing accuracy?

The only things that makes a difference except appearance is sights, flashlights and magazines.
Also, bipods, bayonetts and silencers does not work.

The magpull attachment is simply there for looks, other than that, the condition of the scope is the only thing that matters right now. And with the RIS, I believe  the flashlight can only be attached if it's in good condition and you don't have a bipod on.  Also, you can only attach the M9A1 bayonet to the Mosin.

With regards to magazines, I'm assuming you mean just the size of the mag or do the 3 different types actually differ?

You may be right about the condition for the RIS or I'm just dumb lol. A friend gave me a pristine one, and it worked when I tried with the newer one. Also, the bipod and flashlight can be used at the same time. The M9A1 bayonet (the one that looks like a knife) goes on the m4. You just can't have a silencer.
