Making harder for geared up players.

Recommended Posts

Hey guys what do u think about the idea of stamina indicator. If u loaded up with gear and guns, you shouldnt be able to jog around for hours, even sprionting would be hard/not as fast. Unles you are in millitary training, or in very good shape. So for example if a fully geared up player has fire power advantage over light gear player, say small pack and mosin rifle. But I feel like they should have a chance to outrun the heavier guy. Also if the stamina was a factor, it will force ppl to make choices on what to loot and what to leave.

they should add in a feature that makes you fall over backwards sometimes if you're wearing the mountain pack

when i was in the army, our biggest and heaviest fully packed backpacks had about 60-70 kg

and in 3 years of serving i havent seen one time that a soldier was falling backwards because of his backpack, so clearly a No from me

Good idea, but only if you are sprinting a hill up- or downwards, else it would be totally annoying.

If you are fully geared out and have a gun on your back, a hatchet and a gun in your hands. you will get hungry and thirsty MUCH faster and cant sprint for as long.

I have tested this when I had a m4 and a mosin and a fire axe and full combat gear.

There's already a really effective built-in mechanic for making the game more difficult for "geared up" players.

Shoot them in their kneecaps and then take their gear.

Trust me, it works.

I got shot twice today on two separate occasions by a guy that must not have had a magazine.

He shot me in the forest and I ran away to bandage, he must've followed me and heard my gunshots later on beacause he confronted me inside a house.

Lucky for me I had a magazine in my M4, once I killed him his body disappeared.

Weight is already confirmed for a feature later on through it's development. Stamina will most likely be part of a caloric system based on thirst and hunger.
