Is it possible to carry both the M4 and the Mosin?

Just wondering is it possible to take both rifles with you? I already tried putting 1 in my backpack but it wont let me, and yes i have the biggest backpack. Also tried taking it into the melee weapon slot but it still didnt work.

 

If you cant you really should be able to. Im pretty sure that the fire axe is just as heavy and cumbersome to carry as an M4, if not even more as its weight is not evenly distributed. I guess there should be some restrictions like not being able to carry a second weapon if you have an lmg(though thats still in the future) or something else deemed too heavy or powerfull enough on its own.

if you cant put it in your backpack i doubt you can do it at all broseph

yeah there is, put one weapon on your back, then put the other on the floor, then with the other weapon still on your back, look at the weapon on the floor and pick it up by clicking in the middle mouse button. ta dah

Thanks, but one more thing, or two I guess, which slot does the second weapon take and do i have the drop my melee weapon.

no you don't have to drop melee weapon, and the second weapon just stays in your hands till you put it down or put something else in hands then it just drops on to the floor

Probably not a bug. You can carry one gun on your back and one melee. If you want to carry 2 guns you can carry one on your back and one in hand, but you'll have to drop the one in hand to switch.

If you put the weapon thats in your hands on your back when you switched weapons instead of dropping it, then I wouldve assumed its not a bug, but the way it is now its just too gimmicky and not at all realistic or logical.

I like the only having one gun available. I just wish I had a mosin, because I'm not feeling this m4. (I'd be up to trade a fully kitted m4 for a mosin+scope. I have a suppressor, a red-dot, a bipod, and a tack light on the m4. I'd give you all my m4 ammo with it, as I wouldn't be needing it. that's 2 full 60 round clips, and two 40 round clips, and three 30 round clips. I have all the mosin ammo I need but, if you have any you don't want I'd take it off your hands. I'm in grishino right now and am only gonna be online for another hour. pm me here if interested.)

I left two Mosin's (two different locations) on the ground earlier today as I couldn't figure out how to carry more than my M4, and I didn't want to drop that. But this is good info to have for the next time I run across one.
