Character Wiping

You have to accept it guys... its going to happen.  I realize its frustrating and "game breaking" but its just the reality of standalone at this point.  There's a running saying here that you shouldn't get attached to your gear... and its true for many reasons.  Look at the bright side though... at least we can all run on the docks in peace and harmony safe from flying in the air only to fall and die and zomb...

It'd be nice if you had to take a dump in game and needed something to wipe with wouldn't it?  Can you imagine killing people for toilet paper?  Oh the hilarity

I don't mind the character wipes, I just hate the server landmines where just joining a certain server means your character gets wiped. It's really frustrating to have a good run starting at the beach, running inland and getting a solid kit, taking a break for dinner then finding out when you get back that because you were unlucky in your server selection that you lose everything.

 

I lose probably five characters to the server bug for every one that actually dies.
