Changed graphics now cant play

Hi,

 

I played dayz for a bit and then was messing about changing the resolution. My game then went off and now black screens or freezes when i try to load. Could you please give me a fix!

Try going into the DayZ.Ini and see if there's anything regarding resolution. Then if there is, revert it to original

where would i find this because i have looked everywhere for it

Probably in Computer, Cuser, Program files 86, Steam, Steamapps, Common, and try DayZ

Hit start, click Documents, go to DayZ folder, delete DayZ.cfg file, restart game

 

This sets everything but your controls back to defaults, you will have to change your resolution to match your computers settings, unless they are automatically detected.

Ok try to delete everything dayz related in your documents folder (C:\Users\<User>\Documents) and try to delete everything in this folder: C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Local\DayZ if this does not help then just try to reinstall the game.
