Should just not have eaten rotten banana in first place. :P I'm pretty sure it's better to be hungry for a while until you find something edible than it is to start scarfing down rotten fruit. I ran through miles of forest with constant hunger messages, got my bearings, found a town, chowed down on some beans, sardines and tuna and I was just fine.
