Right now if you change servers there is a GREAT chance that you will lose your loot. Just a heads up people. I would imagine that this is already being looked at to get fixed. Until then I will wait to play.

This isn't happening to everyone but some people are getting affected by it.  It is important though that people are informed.

Known issue, it's been mentioned multiple times here, on r/dayz and on dayz feedback tracker.

 

Thanks for the intention of warning us though, i guess you missed it :)

It's not about specific people, but rather which servers you play on. If you play on a server that has not been whitelisted, your progress will not be saved.
