any word on combat loggers?

Just like to start this thread by saying that I am loving the game so far and am still alive since the game was released. With that said just like the mod the ever so anoying trick to escape death (combat logging) still exists. Have they given any word that this will be fixed wny time soon? I know for the most part it was handled with the mod but theres no worse feeling then defending yourself or killing someone just to see them disapear. Thanks!
