Hi

 

I brought DayZ the other day and have been having a really good time and have gotten some decent gear but I'm getting a new desktop in 2 days so, I was wondering, If I install DayZ on the new Desktop, Will I still have my Character? or will I have to start fresh?

Yes. Your character is saved on the main hive.

 

You will keep your character :)

Yep, tied to your steam account and hive.

Maybe IP, but I'm pretty sure it isn't anymore.
