I'm curious about the defibrillator

Have any of you guys tried using a defibrillator yet?

 

I came across one yesterday, but I never got to use it. :D

 

 

My question here is: Does it have the ability to revive dead players? - If not, what is it for?

Only thing I can think of is for reviving dead before spirit releases... or maybe.... handcuffing someone, and defib killing for a secret achievement?!?

It doesnt work with unconsciousness. Not yet anyway.

Defib's don't bring people back from the dead, that only works in Hollywood.

 

They're mainly used to treat irregular heartbeats in the real world, not 100% sure how that will translate to DayZ.

Well i'm no expert in using a defib.

Reviving dead, as in restarting a stopped heart. Was abit unclear on that.

It will probably work with unconsciousness after a few patches.

A friend tested the defib on me when I went unconscious and on his screen I was able to move around normally, but my screen was still black saying I was still unconscious.

* I'd say it's currently useless until the fix arrives.

 

But in order to use the defib, you must attach a battery to it and then you can use it once you equip it on your hand.
