2nd character wipe again?

Anyone else? My gf and I's characters just got wiped. Was this on purpose?

 

And yes, our characters got wiped after the patch. This is a second one for us today.

Just because you patched doesn't mean you played on a patched server. Make sure you ONLY play on patched servers.

I went on this forum just to find a answer too . I got a new char, on new position like EVERY HOUR. even if I didn't died or PLAYER.

 

Lets explain:

 

Case1.

1. Log, a random char(random face and gender) is created.

2. I walk to some place, take items, eat, drink blabla .... play for like 1 hour... disconnect

3. Puff new char on the same OR on another server.

 

Case 2.

1. Log, a random char(random face and gender) is created.

2. I do nothing, just disconnect .

3. On all servers my char is the same... wait like 1hour ... disconnect .

4. New char....

 

 

I cannot have a char for more then 1 hour... playing for 1hour or not. Passed through steam integrity check 2 times... no problem found...

 

So... what can I do?

 

 

 

P.S: That happened BEFORE the patch and continue to happens now... sooo ....

I've had the same character since the SA came out. I'm doing very well not to have died in the last few days. I'm almost positive it's a patching error for you. Make sure you play on servers with the latest patch.

Possibly. Try removing the filter and test it out. Then, let us know.

I didn't get to test it out because the run that I have on this new character has gone so much better than my old runs. From now on, I'm just going to make sure that I stay on one server regardless. So I'm going to keep that server as my favourites. Thanks for all the help guys. I understand this is Alpha and things like that are going to happen.

 

I absolutely love the game so far regardless of the things people complain about. This is literally the best zombie/survival game I've played. Even though Dean keeps telling us that the game is not worth buying yet, I still think this game is worth the money I spent. Hope you read this Dean. :)

After the patch I hit the "Play" button without thinking the server hadn't updated yet; and lo and behold I spawned where I left my old character just without any gear. I got really lucky with that dude, he will be missed.
