RyanW1019 3 Posted December 19, 2013 Unless the part that you downloaded is the part that got changed with the updates?
Owain1122 218 Posted December 19, 2013 Don't shut down downloads in progress is probably the smartest and safest thing to do!
CommanderDayZ 0 Posted December 19, 2013 im not gonna download the 5GB in one go. We have this thing called a bandwidth cap and plus there's never any issue with any other game I pause downloads before shutting down all the time
RyanW1019 3 Posted December 19, 2013 That sucks, the bandwidth cap here is 8 GB. I'll bet part of the problem is that this is an alpha that just came out, so large updates are happening very often. Once you actually manage to get it downloaded the update process should go smoother. Only thing I can recommend is to try downloading again, and if you have to stop partway through cross your fingers and hope no patches get released while you do so. CommanderDayZ 0 Posted December 19, 2013 If patches wipe out partial downloads, then that is the dumbest shit ever
need matches 84 Posted December 19, 2013 Sounds more like a Steam issue.
