This game is going to be so god damn good a year from now.

I might take a while to get to that point, but even in it's current state I am having a blast.

 

Just seeing how much a single update has fixed this game makes me hopeful for the future. I was very concerned about the standalone no being fun, but I think it's safe to say that when the final product comes out it will at least be a decent game.

 

Here is my wishlist:

Zombies can have rare items (This would promote actually killing zombies and add more of a thrill)

Static mouse acceleration

Very rare end game items

Vehicles (instead of functioning on spawn, they should almost always be repaired)

Stat trackers

Better Performance (I can't max it out on my 290x -_-)

I'll be so excited when loot and hunger and thirst rates get tweaked.

 

I'm pretty close to feeling able to recommend the alpha.

 

I'm seeing lots of new players, so that is awesome.
