ChiefMasterKush 321 Posted June 21, 2012 I never thought I would kill someone unless they threatened me or I could not avoid them.Well after the 1.7.1.2 patch, I lost my gear to face sniper scope'd zombies. I had also disconnected in the factory before this patch, not on purpose server restarts and such. Needless to say I didn't make it.1.7.1.5 comes out and I can actually avoid zombies while looting buildings so off I go. I spawn near the Balota Airfield and decide to give it a shot. I find a Lee Enfield so at least I have a gun even though if I have to shoot it I will probably die.I continue crawling my way around the hangers and then I see a dude come sprinting around from the side of the hanger. Oh Hell no. I stand up and book it away from him and go hide in a nearby shed. Whew. then he shows up with all his Zed friends. Fuck it, I start unloading not even trying to miss this poor soul. As I kill him and all his friends he managed to close the door. I wait a few seconds then decide I need to gtfo.I find the nearest exit under a wall and start making my way to the treeline. To my surprise I spot another person crawling out of the forest. Is that a Ghille suit? Is he looking at me? Starting to zig-zag to avoid possible gunfire and risk pulling out my Lee "AlertAll" Enfield (found a pistol from the first chump).As I get closer to the treeline I notice he seems to be running from me. Ahh screw it I already have blood on my hands lets see what this guy has. Fire a couple rounds and he drops to the ground. No guns but LOTS of food, czech bag, and toolbelt stuff, basically everything except NVGs.I felt bad for a minute about killing them but quickly got over it. In the time span of 5mins I got all the gear I would need for other than guns and it was way easier than crawling around on my belly getting all dirty and fretting over some zed.It is amazing what the will to survive will do to a man.
